One of three Umalusi-accredited bodies that administer the NSC. SACAI focuses on distance education and home schooling. Most accredited online providers, including UCT Online High School, Teneo, CambriLearn (CAPS pathway), and Wingu Academy, are registered with SACAI. Some SACAI papers are sourced from the DBE or IEB; others are set independently.
The SACAI NSC carries identical legal standing to the DBE and IEB certificates. Final SACAI examinations are written in person at approved, invigilated centres. The nearest SACAI centre to Greyton is TBV. Caledon or Hermanus are likely candidates.
