The statutory quality council for general and further education and training in South Africa. Umalusi accredits the three NSC examination bodies (DBE, IEB, and SACAI) and issues advisories confirming their equivalent standing. A provider not registered with a Umalusi-accredited examination body cannot issue the NSC.
