The bioregion covering Greyton, Genadendal, Bereaville, Voorstekraal, and surrounding farms in Ward 2 of the Theewaterskloof Municipality, Western Cape. Approximately 10,000 hectares. The name reflects both the Moravian mission heritage of Genadendal (Dutch/Afrikaans for “valley of grace”) and the wider community identity that has re-emerged around bioregional regeneration, tourism, agriculture, and heritage. The 2038 tercentenary of the Genadendal mission is a fixed strategic milestone.
