The Cape Floristic Region’s characteristic shrubland ecosystem covering the Riviersonderend catchment and much of the Valley of Grace. Named as the primary content of Life Sciences in the proposed BLC curriculum. Fynbos ecology and its management (CapeNature partnership, alien vegetation clearing) sit at the intersection of the BLC’s education and stewardship functions.
