The July 2026 proposal to strengthen curriculum delivery at valley schools through place-based supplementary modules grounded in the Riviersonderend watershed, Genadendal’s mission heritage, fynbos ecology, and the valley’s tourism, agriculture, and conservation economy. The five priority subjects named in the proposal are History, Geography, Life Sciences, Mathematics, and Tourism.
Initial invitees include Emil Weder Secondary and Silverwood (once its constitution is confirmed).
