The Greyton municipal commonage: approximately 2,200 hectares including the Greyton Nature Reserve and surrounding grazing and conservation land. Governed by Theewaterskloof Municipality under a management framework that is not fully settled. A contested R100 sale of about 8 hectares on Erf 595 to a private buyer (documented in the Greyton Commonage Research Report) remains unresolved.
Erf 595 is one of the site scenarios considered for Silverwood and the proposed Valley of Grace Learning Campus.
