The professional association founded at the 1982 conference hosted by Treverton College. EEASA adopted from the start “a holistic way” of viewing environmental education encompassing social, political, and economic dimensions. The association has since regionalised across southern Africa and maintains partnerships with Rhodes University’s Environmental Learning Research Centre.
EEASA affiliation is a Phase 1 target for the proposed Valley of Grace Learning Campus.
